The Sickle Cell Foundation in Birmingham’s third annual Gala fundraiser is “Showtime at the Apollo-Birmingham Style 2008’. The spectacular event will be held on Saturday, January 26th at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel in the Grand Ballroom, 6:00 p.m. – 10 p.m. It features local celebrity entertainment, amateur talent who will compete for prizes and a fabulous dinner. The lovely Eva Pigford of America’s Next Top Model fame is the Celebrity Host. Robert L. Smith, Director of Public Affairs for Bright House Networks, is the Gala Chairman.
